Primary Infrastructure Fund

The Fund provides exposure to a geographically diverse portfolio of property and infrastructure assets used in the primary production industry. These assets include:

  • production infrastructure such as wineries and packing and distribution facilities;
  • horticultural land, including orchards, farmland and plantations;
  • intensive livestock assets such as chicken production sheds; and
  • supporting infrastructure such as water supply facilities and private irrigation schemes.

All properties are directly held by the Fund and include ownership of water rights where relevant. The Fund also holds units in a citrus property trust.

Investment objective

To provide a return which exceeds its benchmark, the Intech Direct Property Index, primarily in the form of partly tax sheltered income with some growth prospects over the longer term.
